I am 77 and have practised art all my life —particularly drawing, printmaking and oil painting. I have neverexhibited. I have entered a few paintings in competitions.

For many years I painted empty fibro south-coast holiday houses, but now I paint in van parks. People assume incorrectly that I paint these subjects to simply record a dying iconic vernacular. However for me it is more complicated because I aim in my painting to trigger the many questions above.
